Director, Elaine Smith, provided an update on shelter statistics.  Live release rate has increased in November, at 86%.  Waiting to get TNR numbers from the Spay/Neuter clinic for the cat/kitten statistics.  October Euthanasia rates were high due to illness.  Spay/neuter clinic is completing about 100 TNVR surgeries a month, this will help reduce the intake of kittens this upcoming spring.  

Charlotte Davis, Chairman, discussed how the Board is the planning phase of creating an educational presentation and gathering a test group for the public education program.  This test group would review the presentation and provide feedback.  The Board expects to move forward after the beginning of the year (2024).
